Having had immortality bestowed upon him by an ancient nun, Manji is spurred on by the death of his sister to end his agelessness by taking on a quest to kill no fewer than 1000 evil men. Until he completes his task, Manji will be kept alive by 'sacred bloodworms', creatures that have the power to re-attach limbs even though they may have been separated hours before.
