About Us

From the team that runs Gundam Mad comes a new webstore dedicated to bringing rare and exciting anime titles and collectables to the wider anime community. Husband and wife team Gurinder and Lindsey have been an active part of the anime community for a number of years and those of you that attended events regularly may have met them running either the Gundam Mad or Manga booths. This new website aims to bring those DVD, Blu-Ray, and other optical media titles (many of which are now out of print) to anime fans in the UK with the usual care and quality service that Gundam Mad brings.


We Currently only accept orders from UK based customers. (UK Mainland, IOM, IOW, NI & CI). Customers from non-UK destinations should email us prior to ordering.

Add the item(s) you want to purchase by clicking on the icon - this will add one of that item to your shopping cart.

The contents of your cart is visible during your visit to our website. You can also see the estimated delivery cost for your order (if applicable) from within the cart - this cost is based on delivery to a UK mainland address. You can also click on the 'view cart' icon at any time, to show the contents of your order so far.

When in the cart you can: Increase, Decrease or Remove any ordered item or clear the entire cart. Once your cart contains the items you require, you click on 'Check Out' option to take you to delivery details section.

Here you enter your name, delivery address, invoice address, email address & telephone number.

(Please ensure that the name, address and postcode you use for the invoice address are exactly the same as those on your credit/debit card you wish to pay with.).

To process your order click the 'Confirm Details' button.

The 'Confirm Details' page will now show you a complete rundown of your order, with delivery details & full cost breakdown. Once you have double checked your order details, (we don't want to ship to an incorrect address. Or send emails to the wrong email address...), then click the 'Confirm Order' button. You will then receive an order confirmation email, which details your order.


We currently use Paypal`s secure card processing system as our transacting agent for all our credit/debit card payments.

We accept most major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Electron, and Delta.

Once you have confirmed your order, you will be taken to a secure page hosted on a Paypal server. Here you will find that the details for invoice address, telephone number and email address that you entered into our cart are already completed. (These details cannot be changed). Here you enter your credit/debit card details and then click `make payment`.

If your payment is accepted you will then receive another email confirming your payment.

Stock Levels

We aim to keep stock of all items shown on our website - there are times when this might not be possible. The stock availability for any product is displayed in real time.

It is only possible to place an order for an item that is shown as 'in stock'. Some items are Limited Editions and as such once they have sold out will not be restocked. 


Our prices are in £`s sterling. They are closely monitored & may change each time we get new stock. The price you pay will be the price in effect at the time of order.


We aim to process all orders as quickly as possible & usually within 24 hours of receiving your payment. Paid for orders received on weekends, or Bank Holidays, will not be processed until the next working day. In the case we are away at an event we will process the order on the next available working day upon our return (there will be a notification on the website should this occur).

Carriage is charged at the following rates for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland:

All orders placed before 10am on the site regardless of size or weight, which are UNDER the value of £30 are charged at a flat rate of £3.00 (Three Pounds) - this is a 1 to 3 working day service after dispatch and is fully tracked.

Shipping rates to other countries are currently only available via special request and queries need to be directed to The delivery times quoted are from the point of dispatch, not from point of order receipt and orders placed after 10am are likely to be dispatched the following working day.

Packaging Policy:

All the internal packaging used in our orders are fully recycled from local businesses and suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint. We do not buy internal packaging materials and as such our products can come packaged in different materials each time. Rest assured we do however securely package all items and all Collectors/Special Editions, titles with reinforced card sleeves and merchandise are packaged in rigid outer card boxes that are fully marked as fragile. Standard titles are generally shipped in padded bubble wrap envelopes.

Order Tracking

We provide an order tracking facility via our couriers. You will be e-mailed regarding the status of your order and expected delivery times so please check your e-mail addresses carefully when entering them. We will also keep tracking numbers on file so if you have any issues please contact us on and we will assist you.

If you have an enquiry regarding the status of an order, then please check your spam/junk folder first as this may answer your enquiry. Orders can be tracked manually at

Shortages, Errors or Damaged Orders

Please check that any order received is in good condition.

Any shortages, damage, omissions or errors should be reported to within 4 days of receipt.

Failure to notify us within this period may make it difficult for us to deal with the problem efficiently.


Cancellations, Returns and Refunds:

You have the right to cancel your order at any time within 7 days after you receive the goods - This does not apply to business customers. (Once the goods have been in your possession for more than 7 days you are deemed to have accepted the goods).

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must send an email to giving the following details:

Order number

Invoice number

Item(s) to be returned

Reason for cancellation

We will then issue you with a Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number via email. The RMA email will contain the information needed to return the goods to us. You will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost.

The goods must be returned to the address shown within the RMA email. If you wish, we can arrange collection of the goods provided that you give us reasonable opportunity to do so from the original delivery address, or another mutually agreed address, within the timescales outlined.

Under such circumstances, the full cost of recovery will be deducted from any refund. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged whilst in your possession or while in the transit to us. Any goods returned must be in 'as new' condition and with all supplied accessories, packaging & manuals and in a sealed state. The return of goods that are not in a sealed state will only be accepted if there is a clear and verifiable manufacturing fault.

We will refund the cost of the returned goods (minus any applicable collection charges) within 30 days of receiving your notice of cancellation, providing that the goods are received by us within 21 days of you originally receiving them. Refunds will usually be made by the same method used to purchase the goods from us. However, under some circumstances we may elect to use an alternate method for refund.


Your Personal Information, Privacy and GDPR:

Privacy: Anime Blu ray respects your privacy, we will not sell your information on to any third parties at any time.

Cookies: We use cookies to help in the general operation of this webstore, these cookies only contain information on items you have in your cart and are wiped whenever the cart is emptied or an order is placed.

Stored Data: We hold contact and address details along with a list of your orders purely for the purpose of fulfilling your orders on our store. If you have an account with us then you can manage the information we have stored from your account section. If you wish to delete your account or you ordered without registering an account with us then you can contact us at the email address below to request the removal/editing of your data.

Third Parties: We will at no point sell your data on to third parties, however this website does currently rely on several third parties to provide you with our services.

Mailchimp: Currently used for our news letter mailing list, you provide them with your email address when you sign up to the news letter. At any point should you choose to unsubscribe your email address will be deleted shortly after by our team. Information provided to Mailchimp by us is only for the purpose of helping to deliver our Marketing, Events and Update emails. PayPal: To help keep you secure online, we use PayPal to process payments for this website, at no point do we store your card details on our site.

Couriers: In order to deliver your purchases we will provide the information to couriers limited to the delivery address and contact details usually required for shipping. The courier used will depend on geographical location and selected shipping option at checkout. Our predominate method of shipping it Tracked via the Royal Mail, we occasionally opt to use Fedex when a parcel becomes particularly heavy, you will be informed of your courier via e-mail once the order has been dispatched.
